The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono is a naked street motorcycle that is modelled along the lines of a supermoto, which is why it has a very purposeful design. This is evident in the shape of the fuel tank, long seat, headlight, and the beak underneath it. The bike also gets twin exhaust pipes located just under the tailpiece, in true Ducati Hypermotard fashion.

Powering the bike is a 659cc, liquid-cooled Superquadro Mono engine. It makes 77.5bhp and 63Nm, earning it the title of the most powerful single-cylinder engine in the world. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. A quickshifter can be added as an accessory.

Under the bodywork, the chassis consists of a steel trellis frame that’s attached to a steel-tube sub-frame and an aluminium swingarm. The frame is suspended by an adjustable Marzocchi USD fork and a Sachs monoshock. The braking hardware consists of a 330mm disc with a Brembo M4.32 calliper at the front.
