No variant details of the Skoda Kodiaq for the Indian market have been revealed. However, we expect the SUV to be offered in standard, Sportline, and L&K trims. A vRS variant could also be launched at a future date.
What features are available in the Skoda Kodiaq?
On the outside, the Kodiaq gets a silhouette similar to that of the current car. However, with the update, it gets a new design for the headlamps, LED DRLs, and revised taillamps. Inside, Skoda has fitted the Kodiaq with dual digital displays, two-spoke steering wheel with knurled buttons, revised aircon panel, powered front seats, multi-colour ambient lights, and leatherette upholstery. It also gets modern features such as ADAS, 360-degree camera, and a plethora of storage spaces as a part of the deal.
What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the Skoda Kodiaq?
While the global Skoda Kodiaq can be had with both petrol and diesel engines, the latter may be skipped for the Indian market. It could be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that puts out 188bhp and 320Nm of peak torque.

Skoda recently pulled the wraps off its latest generation of the Kodiaq SUV globally. With the new update, the Kodiaq gets revised exterior styling, revamped interiors, and more features. Now, post this revelation, the images of the sportier ‘RS’ version of the Kodiaq have been leaked online.
On the outside, the Skoda Kodiaq RS distinguishes itself from the standard version with the blacked-out grille, ORVMs, and pillars. Other visual elements include a smoked effect on LED headlamps, aggressive front and rear bumpers, dual exhaust tips, RS badges on the grille and tailgate, and larger redesigned alloy wheels with red brake calipers.
Feature-wise, it will likely be equipped with a large 13.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an all-digital instrument cluster with a new user interface, an ADAS suite, a 360-degree surround camera, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
As of now, there are no official words on the powertrain and specifications of the Skoda Kodiaq RS. However, we expect a significant bump in the power output of this version over the standard Kodiaq. It is unlikely to come here in India, but the new generation of the Skoda Kodiaq will make its India debut in late 2024.
