With both front and rear disc brakes, Ducati Scrambler Icon comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Scrambler Icon bike weighs 185 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 liters.

The Ducati Scrambler Icon is the entry-level model in the Italian company’s Scrambler line-up and it received a generation change recently. This meant new body panels, which while being true to the previous Scrambler’s design language gave the Scrambler a fresh look. Ducati calls the bike Scrambler 2G for this reason as it looks like the second generation of the Scrambler.

There are bits like the round LED headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and the floating tail section that lend a dash of character to the looks of the Ducati Scrambler Icon.

Ducati is offering the Scrambler Icon in bold, catchy colours such as ‘62 Yellow, Thrilling Black, and Ducati Red.

Powering the bike is an 803cc, air-oil/cooled, L-Twin engine that produces 73bhp at 8,250rpm and 65Nm at 7,000rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox with an up/down quickshifter.

Coming to the chassis, you’ve got a new frame that’s lighter than the previous one. In fact, Ducati says that they’ve managed to reduce the weight of the bike by 4kg because of the lighter frame, new swingarm, and lighter engine.

The Scrambler’s tubular steel trellis frame is suspended by a USD fork and a preload adjustable monoshock made by Kayaba. The bike rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel shod with Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres.
