TVS claims a really impressive mileage for the XL100, but our test revealed a mileage of 52kmpl. This TVS gets its power from a 100cc single-cylinder four-stroke fuel-injected engine. This motor produces 4.4bhp at 6,000rpm and 6.5Nm at 3,500rpm and comes mated to a single-speed gearbox with a centrifugal wet clutch. Due to the changes related to the new emission norms, its weight has increased by 3kgs and tips the scales at 89kgs now.

Due to its product positioning, the XL100 Comfort doesn’t really get a lots of features but it does get conventional telescopic suspension in the front and dual hydraulic springs in the rear. Brakes ae drums at both sides. The miniscule fuel tank can take up just four litres of fuel and a touch-start system is common across all variants.
