The Honda CRF300L is an entry-level dual-sport motorcycle from the Japanese bike maker that has been on sale in the international markets. Honda is considering to introduce the CRF300L in India and the motorcycle could be launched in the country in late 2024.

The CRF300L features an authentic dual-sport styling with minimal bodywork and svelte proportions. This includes a stubby halogen headlamp, high-set handlebar, and a flat seat. The motorcycle also gets an under-seat exhaust. The CRF300L offers a low kerb weight of 140kg, courtesy of its lightweight steel frame and minimal body panels. The chassis has been designed to offer good lateral stiffness and a higher ground clearance.

Powering the Honda CRF300L is a 296cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 27.3bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 26.6Nm at 6,500rpm. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The Honda CRF300L has excellent off-road credentials, courtesy of its hardware. It rides on a 21/18-inch spoke wheel combo, suspended on Showa suspension at both ends with 260mm travel. It has an impressive ground clearance of 244mm while having an accessible seat height of 830mm. Meanwhile, the braking setup includes a 256mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear.

Feature-wise, the CRF300L gets minimal equipment such as a switchable dual-channel ABS, LCD instrument console, and a 7.8-litre fuel tank. If launched in India, the Honda CRF300L will rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, and the Yezdi Adventure.
