Triumph Trident 660 Summary
Price: Triumph Trident 660 price for its variant – Trident 660 Standard starts at Rs. 8,25,000. The mentioned Trident 660 price is the average ex-showroom.
Triumph Motorcycles India has updated its most-affordable inline-three cylinder powered motorcycle, the Trident 660. The 2022 iteration of the motorcycle benefits from an updated colour palette that now comprises Matte Baja Orange with Matte Storm Grey dual-tone paint theme. This new colour scheme will be sold alongside the Silver Ice/Diablo Red, Matt Jet Black, and Sapphire Black paint options.
The changes are limited to the addition of the new paint option. The specifications remain unaltered and the 2022 Triumph Trident 660 continues to use a BS6-compliant 660cc, inline-three cylinder engine that makes 79.8bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The motor is paired to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from an assist and slipper clutch mechanism.
The feature list, too, remains similar and the 2022 Trident 660 continues to use full-LED lighting, Bluetooth-ready instrument cluster, ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, two riding modes (Road and Rain), and dual-channel ABS.
The hardware includes a tubular steel perimeter frame and 17-inch cast-aluminium alloy wheels that are shod with Michelin Road 5 tyres. The suspension tasks are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Then, the braking department comprises 310mm twin discs for the front and a 255mm single disc at the back – both held on by Nissin calipers.
The Triumph Trident 660 rivals the likes of Kawasaki Z650 and Honda CB650R in the Indian market.
