Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Summary
pricing: The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Standard variation starts at Rs. 2,94,147. This is the typical ex-showroom pricing for the Scrambler 400 XC.
The Tritium Scrambler 400 XC is a single-variant, three-color motorcycle. It has a 398cc BS6 engine that produces 39.5 horsepower and 37.5 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with an anti-lock braking system and both front and rear disc brakes. The Scrambler 400 XC has a 13-liter gas tank and weighs 190 kg
The Scrambler 400 XC is the more off-road-focused variant of the Scrambler 400 X, and is the newest addition to the Scrambler range alongside the Scrambler 900, and Scrambler 1200.
The Scrambler 400 XC uses the same chassis as the 400 x. As such, the Scrambler 400 XC utilises similar components as a standard model, with more off-road focused cycle parts. The 400 XC boasts body-colored upturned front fender, and a visor as well as tubeless cross-spoke wheels. It also has lower engine bars, as well as an aluminum sump guard to completely protect the engine.
The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is now available in three new colors: Racing Yellow, Granite and Vanilla White. The basic rugged looks remain unchanged from the original. The bike now includes a tank pad as standard.
The bike is equipped with a 398cc, liquid-cooled engine capable of producing 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 37.5 N · m at 6,500 rpm. The 398cc single-cylinder thumper comes standard with a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch.
Both the front and rear are equipped with 150mm of suspension travel, with 43mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock on the rear. The Scrambler 400 XC is equipped with dual-sport tires and the 19/17 inch tubeless spoked wheels.
The Scrambler 400 XC comes standard with a switchable traction control system, ride-by-wire throttle, full LED lighting, a semi-digital dash, adjustable brake and clutch levers and a Type-C charging port. Its braking is made up of a single 320mm up front and a 230mm disc in the rear. It also has switchable dual-channel ABS as standard bike.
The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is competing against the Royal Enfield Scram 440 and Yezdi Scrambler, but it is unchallenged as a direct rival.
